after our intro yesterday today was the first day we actually build something! Everyone was enthusiastic and we have already seen lots of activities in the shop to test, experiment and getting prepared to figure out the best way of making a bioreceptive facade possible.
Honestly its quite a challenge to ask the students to define experiments and tests instead of building a final model or prototype - accepting that you will leave the workshop with a concept that has the potential to become a product rather than a finished and polished model that shows the final product has to "grow" on all of us ...
