DAYLIGHT - INTRO LECTURES

We always try to give our students a good start, within this semester we cooperate with the NSVV so it was easy to gather some experts about daylight to have a proper intro about the topic.

We had a wide but also deep program:

9:30 – 10:15      Truus Hordijk   (recap daylight in buildings, health effects ...)
10:15 – 11:00    Wouter Beck (rules of thumb, metrics, simulation, solar shading)
11:00 – 11:20    break
11:20 – 11.55    Jante Leupen    (daylight from an architectural point of view)
11:55 – 12:15    Marcel Bilow  (Bucky Lab)

In total it was a great morning, creating awareness and knowledge about the topic and a decent boost for the students.

Here some impressions from the classroom ...we had to move to the old Civil Engineering building, felt like sitting in a class again...
