The last day of the week, one week still to go. The production line of the stacked cardboard dome nodes are piling up very well and the others are also keeping up the speed. From day to day the students get more used to their skills and everything becomes more and more promising.
We also got a delivery from doorline who sponsored laser cutted stainless steel parts, we are totally amazed about the fine details cutted out of 1mm stainless steel plates. Special thanks to Rouven Holz for his cooperation and the sponsoring.
Next to all the projects, Marcel was able to build a box for the sewing machine...bomb proof if you consider that the box is twice as heavy as the machine itself....dont blame him, he is using whats left overs ...pictures will come next week.
Everyone is happy to enjoy a restfull weekend.
this blog is dedicated to the Bucky Lab from the TU Delft faculty of Architecture. Within the mastercourse we design, develop and at the end build architecture and building construction related prototypes. Its a "get your hands dirty" approach in which the students learn how to translate concepts from sketch into working prototypes. We try to live the spirit of buckminster fuller: what ever you can imagine, you can also build!
