Last Friday, we had our 3rd edition of the ROMAZO mini symposium. With 64 students the room was full and all the experts of the sun shading industry of the Netherlands showed up to give their trade knowledge towards the motivated group of new bucky lab students.
Its very unique to have a symposium like that just for the start of one course, normally we have these within the faculty open for a much wider audience, buts thats how we do it and enrolling ourself for the student competition next year spring on the facade fair we kan use any boost to get the best concepts.
So we are ready for action and will start the consulting on Tuesday.
Thanks to all the members of ROMAZO who contributed to the symposium with a lecture and product show.
Here some impressions of the event.
this blog is dedicated to the Bucky Lab from the TU Delft faculty of Architecture. Within the mastercourse we design, develop and at the end build architecture and building construction related prototypes. Its a "get your hands dirty" approach in which the students learn how to translate concepts from sketch into working prototypes. We try to live the spirit of buckminster fuller: what ever you can imagine, you can also build!
