Day 1 started today and we got a proper introduction of our tools from the experienced trainers from festool. Within 3 groups we were able to teach how to cut, use the routers and get a first glimpse what we have in the boxes. The students were enthusiastic about our workshop and you can see on their smile that they had fun and are eager to start building their prototypes.
We would like to thank Frans and Hans from festool for their support
Coen had a little bit of problems, but finally he also arrived with the coffee machine and now we are fully equipped …nearly to be honest due to the fact we missed to move the big trash bin….will be fixed …hopefully
Some expressions of the day, stay tuned we will report on a daily base.
this blog is dedicated to the Bucky Lab from the TU Delft faculty of Architecture. Within the mastercourse we design, develop and at the end build architecture and building construction related prototypes. Its a "get your hands dirty" approach in which the students learn how to translate concepts from sketch into working prototypes. We try to live the spirit of buckminster fuller: what ever you can imagine, you can also build!
