Day 2. all students highly motivated to put their hands on the tools and ready to build their projects. Short before lunch the wood from International Plywood arrived and the truck driver was amazed how quickly the students were able to unload the truck. Just a couple of seconds later all the wood were claimed and a moment later already cute into pieces ...damn these students learn so fast.
We saw some nice sparks, dirty hands and pieces sanded to perfection ...curious what all these little pieces and elements will become ...stay tunes we will show you ...
Today also Eric and Niels from Mojo payed a visit and had a peak look on the students projects.
They were not only amazed by our mobile workshop but also by the passion the students put into their prototypes.
Here a few impressions
this blog is dedicated to the Bucky Lab from the TU Delft faculty of Architecture. Within the mastercourse we design, develop and at the end build architecture and building construction related prototypes. Its a "get your hands dirty" approach in which the students learn how to translate concepts from sketch into working prototypes. We try to live the spirit of buckminster fuller: what ever you can imagine, you can also build!
